Drug Profile
Flomoxef is an oxacephalosporin or oxacephem antibacterial with properties similar to latamoxef (). It is given intravenously as the sodium salt and doses are expressed in terms of flomoxef; 1.04 g of flomoxef sodium is equivalent to about 1 g of flomoxef. The usual dose is 1 to 2 g daily in two divided doses.
