请问各位：专利有效期是从申请日开始计算，还是从公开日开始计算啊？
美国专利中的Filed:October 20,2000,这个是申请日还是公开日吗？欧洲专利中的申请日和公开日用英文都是怎么表达的。请各位老师们，给与解答。在此多谢大家了。

楼上二位的回答，还有一个小问题存在差异，我在欧洲专利中只看到了Date of filing和Date of Publication of application,没有看到有Application date，Publication date
